Love this quote from Gary V from his latest video post – Work/Work Balance:  “I need to get smarter. The way I get smarter is by reading and living, putting my head down, and and executing. I need to taste it!”

My takeaways from Gary’s video:

• Gary is erasing Tweetdeck from his computer to cut back on distractions. While that’s a pretty big move I could see why it would be a smart move. Is that to say I’m going to delete my twitter apps? Probably not, but there are certainly times and whole days that it’s worth turning them off.
• If you don’t execute you don’t win. Plain and simple.
• He’s considering starting a 1 hour Q&A show and I think that’s a fabulous idea!
• His little side-bar under the breath comment about having a crisis when he turned 30 made me laugh. It’s creeping up on me! eek
• Theme of the video: Focusing on what’s in front of you.
• Saying yes to everything, because you hate saying no, just makes you feel stretched in too many directions.
• New favorite garyism “Yoda it Up!” – to touch and live stuff.”
